Volume One Special Edition Cover

It is my pleasure to announce that Udon’s Genzoman will be doing the cover for The Age of Psiber Knights Volume One special edition!

I was so impressed with the cover that he provided for Volume Three that I immediately had him start working on a new cover for Volume One. I will be unveiling the cover for Volume Three at the book release party on August 21. I am trying to get him to make an appearance via video chat at the party.

A Place to Rule and Book Release News

The book release party for The Age of Psiber Knights Volume Two: Silence Through the Thunder has been pushed back to August. Unfortunately, this means that I will be pushing back the unveiling of the third cover, which has been killing me to keep it secret.

Also, I'd like to announce that a special edition of The Age of Psiber Knights Volume One: A Place to Rule is coming soon. It will be available as a paperback but also on the Amazon Kindle and Barnes and Nobles Nook. I'm wrapping up a new edit on the book and it will be receiving an updated cover as well.

Following is the revised book summary:

In this alternate future the English defeated the American colonist uprising in 1776. By the year 2276 the British Empire spans over half the planet. Their only opposition is the Chinese Communist Collective but for now there is a tentative peace.

As a teenager, Arthur Riddle, a distant relative of the queen, witnessed the bombing of London by unknown attackers which resulted in mass destruction and the death of his friend, Zachariah.

Ten years later, now a knight, he is sent to investigate his brother, Morgan, the newly appointed Lord of New England. Morgan is suspected of massing troops to attack the Chinese, but not all is as it seems.

Back in London Arthur must weather attacks on his homeland, double-crossing, and political intrigue. He discovers deeper conspiracies that threaten the British Empire’s very existence.

Sir Arthur Riddle is dispatched to the Caribbean to bring the notorious pirate Cage Lambert to justice. Far removed from the rule of law found in the heart of the Empire, he must seek out unlikely allies and be prepared to make sacrifices he had never considered in order to complete his mandate. Before his ordeal is finished, he must take a journey into the depths of his very soul.

At the same time, the heir to the throne, Princess Crystal, is sent to the other side of the world to investigate a conspiracy that threatens their very way of life. She is aided by the war hero Gawain and the green knight Jonothan. As she works to uncover the threat, she must deal with her growing but forbidden feelings for Jonothan and her mounting dissatisfaction with her society’s traditions.

Book party, release date, and more news!

I just got back from China and invitations for the book release party should be going out soon for July 24, 2010.

The first book will be up on Kindle very shortly and the second book should be released simultaneously in print and Kindle. News about other formats (such as Apple eBook and Nook) will follow in the future.

I will be unveiling the cover for The Age of Psiber Knights Volume III: The Will of the People at the book release party and then here on this blog. The artist also works for Udon and he is very talented.

I hired well-known Street Fighter II Turbo/Udon artist Chamba to do the cover for The Age of Psiber Knights Volume II. The result exceeded my lofty expectations.
