Kindle Edition Updated

The Age of Psiber Knights Volume One: A Place to Rule Kindle Edition has been updated with a new formatting and a few new edits. If you have previously purchased it, just delete it from your device, go to Manage Digital Content in your Amazon account, and choose to send it back to your device. For now the Kindle Edition is the only version that has been updated. It is available now for 99 cents.

It is my pleasure to finally reveal the cover for the Age of Psiber Knights Volume Three: The Will of the People by Genzoman. I will talk more about the unveiling later when I post about the book release party.

The book will be released in early 2011, probably around January. I will zero in on a better date as it draws near.

I decided to wait until the book release party to show anyone because I wanted to do something special, but it was very difficult.

First, here is the sketch that Genzo sent me based on my description:

And last, I got the final image. I wanted Gawain's hair to be darker gray and Bobbi's skin to be a darker red:

I was so impressed with the cover that he provided for Volume Three that I immediately had him start working on a new cover for Volume One. I will be unveiling the cover for Volume Three at the book release party on August 21. I am trying to get him to make an appearance via video chat at the party.

The book release party for The Age of Psiber Knights Volume Two: Silence Through the Thunder has been pushed back to August. Unfortunately, this means that I will be pushing back the unveiling of the third cover, which has been killing me to keep it secret.

Also, I'd like to announce that a special edition of The Age of Psiber Knights Volume One: A Place to Rule is coming soon. It will be available as a paperback but also on the Amazon Kindle and Barnes and Nobles Nook. I'm wrapping up a new edit on the book and it will be receiving an updated cover as well.

Following is the revised book summary:

In this alternate future the English defeated the American colonist uprising in 1776. By the year 2276 the British Empire spans over half the planet. Their only opposition is the Chinese Communist Collective but for now there is a tentative peace.

As a teenager, Arthur Riddle, a distant relative of the queen, witnessed the bombing of London by unknown attackers which resulted in mass destruction and the death of his friend, Zachariah.

Ten years later, now a knight, he is sent to investigate his brother, Morgan, the newly appointed Lord of New England. Morgan is suspected of massing troops to attack the Chinese, but not all is as it seems.

I just got back from China and invitations for the book release party should be going out soon for July 24, 2010.

The first book will be up on Kindle very shortly and the second book should be released simultaneously in print and Kindle. News about other formats (such as Apple eBook and Nook) will follow in the future.

I will be unveiling the cover for The Age of Psiber Knights Volume III: The Will of the People at the book release party and then here on this blog. The artist also works for Udon and he is very talented.

Volume III First Draft Is Finished!

I just finished the first draft of The Age of Psiber Knights: Volume III and while I expected it to be the shortest book, it's longer than I expected. Volume I and II clock in at about 155 pages and Volume III will probably be 120 pages.
